WORCESTER COUNTRY CLUB
A place where family is celebrated and cherished
Our History
Worcester has a long and storied past featuring names such as Hagen, Jones, Nelson, Sarazen and Rawls. Today's Club features a family atmosphere. We still regularly host important state golf events.
Golf
Worcester Country Club’s significant contribution to the history of national and global golf also embraces our local history here in Massachusetts and New England. WCC is home to 7 Mass Open Championships, 7 Men’s Mass. Amateur Championships, Women’s Mass. Amateur Championship, 2 New England Amateur Championships, and 2 New England PGA Championships.
Course Tour
Worcester C.C. hosted the 1925 Men’s U.S. Open and the 1960 Women’s U.S. Open. But Worcester is best known as the site of the inaugural Ryder Cup, in 1927. As such, ours is one of the only golf clubs to host these premier men’s, women’s and international tournaments.
Facilities
The WCC Clubhouse is perfectly appointed for events with many spaces overlooking the championship course. There is seating for nearly 450 indoors & nearly 200 outdoors, with great flexibility in creating entertainment spaces.
