This is one of the best starting holes that you will ever play. It is fair and is just tough enough to make your introduction to Worcester Country Club a pleasant one. It has a generous landing area from an elevated tee. For many golfers a driver will be too much club, as there is a creek lurking 240 yards in the distance. A fairway wood or long iron will do nicely to reach the 150 yard marker. The right center of the fairway provides the best angle of attack. The typical Donald Ross designed green is elevated, well bunkered, and will require one more club. This green is large and can be slippery from back to front. Stay below the hole on your approach. A great hole on which to start your golfing adventure.
